Super Bowl

I have a difficult time with the Super Bowl.  I love sports, so I thoroughly enjoy the actual game (Plus, I have to explain the intricacies of the sport to my mom.  She would rather sit and exclaim, “Whoa!  Look at that butt!”…On another note, yes, I watched the Super Bowl with my mom.  In pajamas.).  However, I also enjoy/enjoy complaining about the commercials.  On top of this, the Super Bowl, obviously, goes hand in hand with beer.  This all leaves me in a conundrum:  When do you go to the bathroom?  Not during the game.  Not during the commercials.  Halftime?  Maybe.  Except, the drummer from The Who was too visually awesome to miss.  I have no idea if the performance was good-I couldn’t hear anything above my uncontrollable laughter.  I’m thoroughly entertained by simple things these days.  The facial expression (note: singular) of a random drummer just happens to be one of those things.  He will forever be “fish lips” to me.

Anyway, back to the original issue…

I sprinted to the bathroom when our local news station appeared to talk about another snow storm.  I have absolutely no desire to hear about MORE SNOW. Ugh.

i think the only reason i like the superbowl is for the FOOD and DRINK that one gets to enjoy during the ENDLESS GAME AND COMMERCIALS! and, like your mom, i love looking at those man asses in tight pants. PHENOMENAL!!! and i love looking at their arms, too. oh god. how i need a man. :)

Oh yes, the infamous ‘when in the world do I pee?’ issue. I swear, I face this everyday.

That drummer made me laugh, too. When I wasn’t focusing on their ancient-ness (are they 70 years old, yet?) I was definitely focused on that guy’s face. Haha.

We haven’t heard about V in a long time – are the phone lines to Lithuania still up ? ;-)

  5. The Super Bowl was fun this year. The game was actually good. Of course it helped that the Saints won. I’m not an Indy fan.

I was disappointed in the commercials this year. I really only thought one was special. The Betty White one for Snicker’s. Hysterical! The rest were just OK. It made me wonder if 2.4million per spot was really worth it???

As far as THE WHO….hmm….they WERE a great band, but not anymore. I mean, they could barely still sing. Pete Townsend was especially bad. He missed so many notes! Ahh..it was painful. But yes, the drummer was good. But can’t speak to his “deliciousness!”

DCU Fan…They’re barely up. Luckily, the internet works. However, internet chats don’t make very interesting blog posts…most of the time. :)
