What We Talk About on Friday Nights
I’ve been working on various updates this week. So, today, I’ll leave you with another photo of Okoboji and a conversation that had me laughing/pondering my friends all weekend.
Nothing to do with the lake, but weekends with friends are always entertaining.
Guy Friend’s Brother: You wore that bra last weekend.
Me: True. Thanks for noticing.
Guy Friend’s Brother: Did you know the original name for the bra was “tit sling”?
Guy friend’s girlfriend and I crack up. At the same time, my mom texts me, so I feel the need to enlighten her on this subject. Mom texts back, “Tell him he’s wrong. Everyone knows it was originally called a boulder holder.”
Me (jokingly): My mom thinks you are wrong too. She says it was originally called a boulder holder.
Guy Friend’s Brother: Hmmm. I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure boulder holders are what the cavemen used to carry rocks…
