Summer
I’ve spent the last few weekends in various locations close enough to Des Moines; I’ve been boating in Clear Lake, hanging out in Minnesota, and enjoying a break from the monsoons at a pool bar in Kansas City.
This weekend will be no different. I’m heading back up to Clear Lake with some friends, and then, we’re going to make our way to my former summer refuge, Lake Okoboji. Okoboji is a beautiful, blue water lake in northwest Iowa. It is especially known for its Fourth of July celebrations (I’ll explain that further in pictures next week). Some of my favorite summer memories were created on that lake, so I’m sure this holiday weekend will be no different. Here is a preview:

The question is did you superimpose a body for Alex in both shots or just the first one…If anything he looks less muscular in the second shot….While I think someone might be holding there stomach in for the first one, the ribs showing are a dead giveaway (I should know I’ve been failing to disguise my increasing weight for years ,using the very same method) …..Glad to see that your perpetual vacation is showing no signs of letting up…..
