Yellowstone Club

I’ve spent the last 10 days skiing at the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana. I’m not even going to attempt to describe this place, because it’s definitely something you have to experience to fully understand. I just feel incredibly lucky that my aunt and uncle are members of this private ski community.

So far, my days have consisted of waking up early, driving to the lodge, dropping my car off at valet, enjoying some free breakfast, collecting my ski boots from the locker room boot warmers, drinking some free hot chocolate for the 2-second walk to the lift, not buying a lift ticket or waiting in any line whatsoever, and finally, skiing. A lot of skiing. In fact, I haven’t missed a day yet, and I’ve skied almost full days. This is quite the change from my usual ski-a-run-or-two-and-spend-the-rest-of-the-day-looking-busy-in-the-lodge agenda. I might be slightly obsessed:

On top of this, I get to eat dinner in Warren Miller Lodge next to Warren Miller:

Yeah, it’s not so bad here.
